I’m contemplative and attentive, I like to watch people in their lives, on the beach and in cafes. I'm passionate about gestures and body language. I’m very interested in the way people interact with each other, and how they behave on their own.

This work is about women. I drew them with nostalgic expressions, with big black eyes and strong eyebrows. I feel these portraits are influenced by my experience in Africa, the people I met there and passed by on the street in Maputo, where I lived from 2012 to 2016. I like to think of my characters as posing for a photograph, for the world.
-
This collab with CLUOH represented an irresistible opportunity to see my illustration work applied to the fashion universe.
-
Also, I identify myself with the brand, and especially, I believe in the people behind the project – who have shown invariable openness, dedication and good will throughout the process.
